When I was at GunCon, One Horse introduced the One Horse Express. It’s the first factory-tuned rifle with an forced reset trigger included and it was dope. Honestly, it was one of my favorite new guns of the show and one of the coolest things I’ve seen hit the market this year. If you don’t know what an FRT is, they help you shoot faster. Legally. The One Horse Express pistol comes in two flavors — MLOK and quad rail — with the Atrius Development Group’s forced reset trigger in a compact, purpose-built 5.56 platform.

A Fast Shooter
The One Horse Express series expands with two factory-tuned 10.5-inch 5.56 NATO pistols that bring the company’s “built to run” philosophy to a more compact platform. Available in M-LOK and quad rail configurations, both feature a factory-installed Atrius Development Group Single-Side Forced Reset Selector and are assembled, fitted, timed, and tested to ensure the selector, fire control group, gas system, bolt carrier group, and buffer function as a complete package. The result is a pistol engineered for reliable operation right out of the box.
The Express M-LOK pistol features a 9.25-inch handguard with seven-sided M-LOK compatibility, dual QD sling mounts, and an SB Tactical SBA3 stabilizing brace. The Express Pistol Quad Rail swaps in a 9.5-inch rail with four full-length 1913 Picatinny rails, lightening cuts, and an SB Tactical SBA5 stabilizing brace.
Both models share a carbine-length gas system featuring a dimpled and staked low-profile steel gas block, a polished and tuned mil-spec fire control group, a Breek Arms Warhammer Mod2 ambidextrous charging handle, an MPI-inspected M16-profile bolt carrier group, a tuned buffer system, and a THRiL RTG pistol grip. Buyers can further personalize the platform with an ambidextrous Atrius selector, upgraded TiN, NiB, or PVD bolt carrier groups, and a selection of Vortex optics are available.

“The Express Series has grown fast because customers have seen what ‘Built to Run’ means: a rifle that’s tuned, tested, and ready to work right out of the box,” said Jeremy Hammons, CEO of One Horse. “Adding the 10.5-inch pistols was the next logical step. We didn’t just shorten the platform — we carried over the same factory fitting and timing process that made the original Express Rifle what it is. Shorter platform, same standard, same reliability.”
I’m excited to see where One Horse goes from here. They’re bucking convention and pushing the FRT boundaries, all while keeping costs affordable for the masses.
