Strike Industries and Primary Arms have teamed up to offer an exclusive new product, the Strike Arms Pistol Compact frame, or SAP-C. The SAP-C is a serialized frame that comes fully assembled with GLOCK 19 Gen 3 compatible internals that’s ready for your GLOCK 19 slide and barrel of choice.
Strike Arms SAP-C
This isn’t Strike Industries first run at a GLOCK frame. A while back they made the Strike Arms 80-C, which was an 80% GLOCK 19 frame. I have one and like the looks and ergonomics of it. I know guys were scrambling to find old stock when they were discontinued and had been asking for Strike to bring them back.
The new SAP-C is a fully finished, serialized lower — not an 80% frame — but that’s probably better for a lot of folks who just want to put together a decent custom GLOCK build and don’t want to mess with finishing an 80% lower. This is the first fully serialized firearm produced by Strike Industries (under the Strike Arms name) and it’s available exclusively through Primary Arms.
The new SAP-C frame has the lines of the old 80-C with number of updates. It has improved ergonomics, including a grip angle that closely resembles a 1911, resulting in a more natural and intuitive point of aim. Grip angle is a common complaint on factory GLOCKs. The SAP-C has an aggressive stippled texture, oversized scalloped cutouts, and what Strike calls the “Dynamic Control area” at the front of the frame to help provide recoil control. A raised area around the slide lock button helps prevent inadvertent slide lock, and provides a secure area to rest your support hand thumb.
The polymer frame also features a modified, double undercut trigger guard with overtravel stop and anti-snag features. There’s also an extended beavertail to prevent slide bite. An integrated flared magwell is incorporated for smooth magazine changes, and a full-length picatinny rail let’s you attach the light or laser of your choice. The SAP-C will also accept Strike’s larger magwell to facilitate even quicker reloads.
The SAP-C frame has an MSRP of $149.95. That’s pretty reasonable for a fully finished, serialized frame complete with all lower parts. All you need to add is the slide assembly of your choice and you have a a GLOCK 19-sized pistol with improved features and ergonomics over a factory G19. I’m hoping they eventually offer it in different frame colors like the old 80-C, too. I like my old 80-C frame enough that I’ll definitely be getting one of these soon to check out, so keep an eye out for updates on that in the future.

Serialized? Completed? Therefore required to go through an FFL, 4473, AFT, CADOJ, et al?
Hard pass. What’s the point of building your own, if not to keep it your private property?
Serialized frame, but its to have a glock frame with all possible feature done to it already then send your oem frame out and paying to have done by hand stippling ,undercuts, etc.
