Diamondback’s New 2″ and 3″ SDRs…Because Everyone Needs a Good Revolver

Diamondback SDR

Diamondback Firearms is proud to announce a new collaboration with TALO Distributors that brings two exclusive small-frame SDRs to market.

The 2″ model marks the first release of an SDR with a bobbed hammer, making it a premier choice for discreet everyday carry and enhanced snag-free draw. Both the 2″ and 3″ SDRs are chambered in .357 Magnum / .38 Special +P and feature premium construction designed for performance and reliability.

Each revolver is built with a Black Nitride+ forged stainless steel frame, a stainless steel glass-beaded cylinder, and a Hogue black rubber grip that provides exceptional control and comfort. With their durable finishes and compact dimensions, these SDRs are built to excel in both self-defense and everyday carry applications.

Simon McCartney, Sales & Business Development Manager at Diamondback Firearms, shared: “We’re thrilled to partner with TALO on these exclusives. The 2″ bobbed hammer model is a first for our SDR line; it offers customers an optimal blend of concealability, comfort, and control. Working with TALO allows us to bring truly distinctive products to market that reflect our shared commitment to innovation and customer choice.”

    1. Exactly! Really? The 2″ Two-Tone SDR (MSRP $838) and the 3″ Two-Tone SDR (MSRP $856) This is merely an ad for Diamondback FA. Are they any good? These prices reflect high quality yet there is nothing to go by. My S&W revolvers were much more affordable, my Ruger revolver were more affordable. Diamondback FA semiauto pistols are not known for their quality. We need a review of a few to see how they shoot. That is a lot of cash for a unknown revolver.

      1. From everything I’ve read and watched the SDR shoots pretty well. It holds one more than a Smith & Wesson 60, is higher quality than a Kimber K6s, and is smaller and more carry-focused than a Colt Cobra.
