I wrote about Palmetto State Armory’s special edition Gun Owners of America fundraiser lower recently, and even showed off my build with that lower, so I’d be remiss of I didn’t point out that Hi-Point has joined the fundraising effort as well. They’ve teamed up with GOA and are offering three different carbines that will support GOA’s legal efforts to defend the 2nd Amendment and roll back unconstitutional legislation.
9mm, .45 ACP, or 10mm: Pick Your Favorite
Hi-Point is offering three carbines that will come with the GOA insignia emblazoned on their shroud. That includes the 995TS (9mm), 4595TS (.45 ACP), and the 1095TS (10mm) so you can pick your favorite caliber. Or get one of each! A portion of the proceeds from every sale goes directly to the GOA. The press release didn’t say exactly how much, but everything helps. And you get a cool carbine out of the deal for donating. Who knows, maybe a GOA edition Hi-Point will be collectible one day? It could happen right? In the meantime, just shoot it, that’s what they’re made for.
The special edition carbines will be available through Shootammo.com. The 9mm 995TS model has an MSRP of just $269.00. The .45 ACP 4595TS is selling for bit more at $295.00, and the 10mm model 1095TS rounds out the group at $299.00.
Sub $300 for an American made semi automatic carbine with a great warranty is a heck of a deal, even without the bonus of supporting the GOA to safeguard our gun rights. Sure, they look a little like props from a Planet of the Apes movie, but that’s part of the charm. Honestly, if Hi-Point leaned into that and did a run with a thumbhole wood stock in 10mm I would be all over that. I know a number of folks who have 9mm and .45 Hi-Point carbines and the darn things just run. As it is, I already have a 10mm JXP 10 Hi-Point pistol, so maybe it’s time to get a carbine to go with it regardless?
