Mamdani May Be the Most Anti-Gun Mayor in New York City’s History

Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson described Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani’s election victory as “the biggest win for socialism and the biggest loss for the American people.” Speaker Johnson understands how badly the New York City mayor-elect can harm our civil rights, especially our Second Amendment rights.

The mainstream media looks at Mamdani with damn-near lust in their eyes. He’s 34, good-looking, well spoken, Muslim, with politics even farther to the left than the reporters who cover his every single word.

The anti-gun media has constantly tried to stamp-out those who support the Second Amendment. Their only problem has been finding the right sources. However, once Mamdani is sworn in as Mayor, the media’s wait is over. Mamdani will become a loud national anti-gun voice.

The Democratic Socialists of America could hardly contain their glee Tuesday night, firing off a lengthy statement that contained most of their policy plans, at least the ones they want the public to know about.

“We look forward to fighting alongside Mayor Mamdani to win a rent freeze, fast and free buses, and universal childcare. We will continue to fight for a free Palestine, to get ICE out of our cities, fight for alternatives to policing that truly keep communities safe, and stand up to Donald Trump’s attacks on our social services,” Democratic Socialists of America posted on its website.

For all gun owners, not just those behind the lines in New York City, Mamdani’s election was the absolute worst. He never hid his hatred of modern firearms. In fact, he was lobbying hard against legal firearm ownership before he was elected mayor.

“We are reminded—no matter how strong our gun laws are in this state—we are only as safe as the weakest laws in this nation,” Mamdani claimed throughout his mayoral campaign. He even had it posted on his X account.

Like New York Governor Kathy Hochul, Mamdani has repeatedly called for a federal ban on what he and Hochul call “assault rifles.”  While Mamdani has never had a real job in the private sector, his time as a New York State Assemblyman reveals his strong anti-gun beliefs.

Mamdani supported legislation that required gun stores to post warnings about firearms. He voted to force handgun permit applicants to turn over their social media history for evaluation, and he sought to severely restrict how gun makers could advertise their products. Mamdani voted to expand New York’s “red flag” law, and he sought to ban civilians from owning modern body armor.

While he strongly supports disarming New York City residents, at a celebration of his recent wedding, which was held in July at his family’s lavish estate in Uganda, there were lots of guns and heavily armed teams of commandos. As News 18 reported . . .

Security at the event was described as unusually tight, even by VIP standards. Over 20 special forces commando unit guards, some in masks, were deployed around the property. A phone-jamming system was also in place to prevent leaks. Outside the Mamdani house were more than 20 special forces commando unit guards, some in masks, and there was a phone-jamming system set up — and all for the strictly invite-only Mamdani event. One gate had around nine guards stationed at it.

Takeaways

Mamdani’s hypocrisy is easy to see: No guns for New York City residents, but heavily armed special forces commandos for him. New Yorkers who can’t afford to hire their own commando teams are at extreme risk because the criminals there are very well armed.

Mamdani’s no-guns-for-thee strategy will only result in more loss of innocent lives. This criticism has nothing to do with his religion—it’s certainly not Islamophobia, as he labels any criticism he receives. It’s about a wealthy, privileged young man who was raised on a massive estate in Uganda, who doesn’t understand firearms, self-defense, crime, or criminals.

Mamdani’s anti-gun efforts will result in the deaths of more innocent New Yorkers. It’s too bad that not all of its 8.5 million residents can afford to flee to safer states.

  1. This is what you get with open borders. It takes 20 or 30 years. But this is how you lose you civil rights over time. Thank you to the Libertarians liberals and leftists. And don’t forget the RINOs.

It been a trade. Your civil rights in exchange for cheap labor. And having a welfare industrial complex, paying young Americans to not work. Does help to make it much worse.

And don’t forget all the drugs you get with an open border. I wonder what legitimate businesses the cartels are going to exploit. Takeover. Using deadly force , such as the avocado farmers in mexico.

We have that to look forward to as well.

Perhaps in NYC they will hang h0;m0s;exu:a@s or throw them off of roof tops , that’s what muslims do. It’s amazing how many of the g@.ys and a th.eis:ts vote for muslims, protest , for them as well.

Just look what is happening in Dearborn Michigan now that the muslims have taken over that area.

100% correct. That’s why they all hate Trump with a passion. He’s the first person willing to risk his life to right the ship that’s been sinking for over 40 years. He’s finally admitting that they’ve been exploiting legal immigration as well as illegal immigration.

And before the Libertarians take issue with what Chris is saying, you need to listen to the leader of your party. He is for open borders. You guys elected him to lead your party.

Polling shows that immigrants have always supported Democrats. That’s because immigrants have no cultural ties to this country. Just like Democrats, they don’t understand our history, therefore they aren’t worried about preserving our values. And polling did show that immigrants overwhelmingly supported this pretend commie who hangs around Muslim extremists and apologizes for terrorists. It’s exhausting caring for these suicidal people (Democrat voters).

      1. Thank you dude.

I know I upset the libertarians because I will not let them forget.

Back in 2016 their hero , the pothead , gary johnson supported gun control. And he was an open border supporter as well.

The libertarians use carrying an AR 15 as a prop. A distraction. I say they’re not serious.

You can complain about Donald Trump not being a perfect candidate. The @th,e:ist’s will always complain.

But the christians know that all human beings are not perfect and never will be. We simply want the best candidate we can find.

Justin Amash and Floyd or Jeff flake. Two self-described libertarians never, ever put forward pro-Second Amendment legislation. But they did complain a lot about president Trump. And Justin Amash said that we needed to have a black woman on a Supreme Court. So all he cared about was the woman’s skin color.

        So much for the libertarians.

Having open borders and supporting a stand down for the police, means your civil rights are going away.

But Remember. The libertarians liberals and the Leftists do not support you killing to protect your private property. They will calm the cops on you. While the Government is killing criminals to protect government property.

There are reasons why you have anti civil rights h,0m”0se:zu:@ls being elected to governorships.

        Legal butt sez and drugs.

        1. Few libertarians even know who that is let alone begin to give a shit about what he says or have membership in the party. Big part of why it isn’t an organized movement so much as an influence when any rational though is applied. You are correct in lumping them together the party is as commie infiltrated as the Green let alone current democrat. As to the open borders and free trade it would assume no gibs (for anyone really) and reciprocal practices from other nations. Obviously those conditions are not met so the practice is untenable under current conditions.

  2. The anti-civil rights crowd will always call you a racist or accuse you of Islamophobia. In the past people have been accused of “antisemitism”. Because they supported the Second Amendment.

So get use to being called names. I’m use to it.

    1. To jwn

Most people don’t know it. But women were voting at the time on the founding of the United States states. And so we’re black people.

The requirement you needed to meet, was you had to be a property owner. And yes there were many women who owned property and there were many blacks who were free, who were also voting as well.

It does seem that the founders had sort of a “starship troopers” mindset. When it came to citizenship and requirements to be a citizen.

It was around the time of the war of 1812, when women actually lost the right to vote. Because women started being women. “Thinking” like a woman.

Emotionalism instead of calm reasoned thinking.

      1. You have oversimplified this. Free blacks lost the vote in Virginia in 1723, the same they were prohibited from owning guns. Free blacks were disfranchised before the Revolution in other states. The battle to abolish slavery in New York finally ended with free blacks subject to a higher property qualification than whites. Even where blacks had the right to vote, like Philadelphia, it appears that mob action made this impractical.

The only state where women had the vote was some counties in Delaware, if their deceased husband met the property qualification. It is not clear how many actually voted.

        1. To Clayton cramer

It’s not an over simplification. It is a fact if you were a landowner you could vote. This is not to say that there was no discrimination when it came to voting. The libertarians , liberals and the left will always complain about the society of the 18th century. Because they will apply their 21st century worldview on these ancient people. The bottom line is that the rights we have today. That we enjoy. We’re created by these people. Not by the people in europe. Or in Asia or in Africa.

And slavery was everywhere in the 18th century planet earth. Even the white Europeans made slaves out of each other. But yes , the african slave trade was certainly the largest, I believe historically.

With the Africans selling their African enemies to the white Europeans as well as to the white Arab Muslim population in the east.

And I have been to university archives, and I have seen the voting records myself. It was a research project that I had many years ago.

And nobody’s talking about how the muslim population was making slaves out of the white europeans along the mediterranean coastline.

So yes, free blacks and women we’re voting in the 18th century , and there was voter fraud back then too, that prevented people who could legally vote from voting.

And in the 21st century , there is still voter fraud, and election interference 250 years later in the United States.

          And
For those who don’t know it.

Women inherited property all the time when their husband’s died. And they died from many things in the 18th century. Because there was no medical care like we have today.

And women inherited their husbands slaves as well. And that is how Marie Sanford came to own a black man called Dred Scott.

Marie Sanford was a voting property owner. Who had standing in the courts.

      2. “It was around the time of the war of 1812, when women actually lost the right to vote“

What a doofus… Do you really think that women in the United States of America had the right to vote until 1812?

        Trump voters… Homeschooled I’m sure.

        1. FormerParatrooper

Since you disagree with his statement , maybe you could refute with something? You think he is wrong, prove it and in the context he presented the information.

        2. MajorSkidmarks,

Once again, you prefer a Leftist lie over truth. No, there was not “universal suffrage” from 1776. But, IF you knew any history (or, actually, anything that was accurate), you would be aware of the facts that ChrisT laid out. No, not in all states, but in most states, a woman could (and usually did) inherit her husband’s property. And many free blacks (particularly, but not exclusively, in the North (where the Republicans were)) owned property. Most property owners were eligible to vote.

You remain too stupid to insult.

  3. As the great H.L. Mencken said, “Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.”, Mencken was not wrong. Vote for stupid shit (“free” buses, “rent-controlled” apartments, “welfare” for illegal aliens), and watch things collapse. The economic/political side of the coin from “play stupid games; win stupid prizes”.

Only an economically illiterate moron would vote for Mamdani – which kinda identifies nearly 60% of the voters in NYC (and the percentage is over 80% for “college-educated white women under 30″. I was never a fan of the ‘Repeal the 19th Amendment” movement, but . . . I’m rethinking that. Perhaps only allow women to vote who have had real jobs and raised children??

It’s going to be fascinating to watch Zohran the Commie Jihadist try to run NYC for the next four years. I wouldn’t put heavy money on his winning re-election, but the never underestimate the stupidity of NYC voters.

    1. “Only an economically illiterate moron would vote for Mamdani – which kinda identifies nearly 60% of the voters in NYC (and the percentage is over 80% for “college-educated white women under 30″

It’s not just New York City voters. It’s all the voters along the western coastline of the United States. From California to Washington State.

The western coastline of the United States is lost. Just like NYC. Because the west coastline has been flooded with illegal immigrants who think like s0: ci;@- l,ist,s.

      They want “free” stuff too.

      1. 85% of Mandami voters lived in the city less than 10 years. Any guesses how many have a similar amount of time in the country?

  4. I’d guess most NYC voters didn’t look beyond the free stuff he promised when they voted for him. The rude awakening will happen after he’s sworn in. Cops in the NYPD are retiring in droves.

  5. That may well be, but I see armed bodyguards on some of his public appearances. Bodyguards come with the job. I spent seven years as bodyguard for the mayor of Portland Oregon and can spot them.
