Shot Show Range Day: Grit Grips Frames for G19 and G43x/48 Pistols

Grit Grips was at Range Day for SHOT 2026 showcasing their exceptional GLOCK frames. Grit Grips focuses on quality and fit, with attention to detail in even the smallest components. They’re US manufactured with modern features at a reasonable price.

Grit Grips was started by Dustin and Natalia Sroufe of Charleston, South Carolina. Dustin was the designer responsible for a lot of the work on the PSA Dagger, and left PSA to start Grip Grips intending to make the best no-compromise frame possible. While the GLOCK frame market is stacked with aftermarket options, nothing out there feels as solid and comfortable as Grit Grips.

Using a directional texture design molded into the frames, the G19 frame simply locks into the hands. The frame features a comfortable 18-degree cant, as opposed to the factory 21 degrees. The back of the frame that interfaces with the palm of the hand is rounded in such a way as to provide as much contact with the shooters hand as possible. The backstrap features a gentle tear-drop shape that sat comfortable into the base of my thumb.

The side of the frame incorporates an ‘accelerator pad’ for the support side thumb. The deeply undercut trigger guard and the extended beavertail work together to support a high grip on the frame.

I’ve shot a metric ton of GLOCKs, GLOCK-style frames, and I’ve built a few from 3d prints and 80% frames.  Nothing comes close to the Grit Grips feel in hand. Dustin kept handing me magazines, and I kept making steel ring down range. Shooting the Grit Grips frames made me a believer, and you can expect an in-depth review of their frame and slide.

Stripped frames sell for $69.99, with assembled frames ranging from $119 to $169, depending on selected components. For additional details on their G19, and their G43x/48, and their slides and mag wells, check out www.gritgrips.com
