American gun owners got quite a chuckle nine months ago when California Gov. Gavin Newsom was gifted a SIG SAUER P365-XMACRO pistol while appearing on podcaster Shawn Ryan’s Tennessee-based program. The guffaws are continuing as media reports note the far-left Democrat still can’t get his pistol because of the Golden State’s onerous gun control laws.
The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms says it is only justice that Newsom—who has lobbied for and signed virtually every gun control law landing on his desk—can’t take possession of the gun because of the legislation he and his Democrat colleagues in Sacramento have enacted over the years. According to the New York Post, there are several roadblocks in the governor’s way, including:
- The pistol must be shipped from a federally licensed firearms dealer in Tennessee to a licensed dealer in California.
- Newsom must obtain a Firearm Safety Certificate and to do that he must take a class and pass a test with at least a 75% score.
- He must have a state-approved lock box or some other approved locking device.
- He must fill out the necessary paperwork (Federal Form 4473), pass a background check and endure the state’s 10-day waiting period.
“Gov. Newsom might use this as a learning experience,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. “That is, if he actually wants the pistol. Last year, he told Ryan that he is not really ‘anti-gun,’ even though everything he has said and done in office has certainly pointed in that direction.

“We’re beginning to wonder if Gavin is worried he might not pass the firearms safety test, or get through the background check,” he continued. “What’s the holdup, Governor Newsom? Just think about the future. You can campaign for the White House like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, telling everyone you’re a gun owner, and then you could say you were treated like a criminal, the way every other California citizen is treated when they want to purchase a gun.
“C’mon, Gavin,” Gottlieb concluded. “It’s time to get your gat.”

You can’t teach a stump anything just as gavin

Gov. Newsom and his leftist chums are not capable of learning. Why you ask? Because they are already all knowing! Stumps don’t learn and attempting to teach them is a waste of time.
Gov. Newsom did not want the pistol because it would send negative vibes to his constituents reflecting hypocrisy relative to their 2nd Amendment destruction agenda.
Gov. Newsom really is ‘anti-gun’ and make no mistake for his past actions have clearly defined his position.
So the truth is: Gov Newsom did not learn a thing, he did not want the gun and he is not pro-gun; but, he is really ‘anti-gun’. The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

He can’t read, badly dyslexic (according to his own words). He would never pass the test.
he doesn’t even read the bills he signs, can’t and doesn’t understand them because of this. He just takes the word of his staff.
Of course though Newsom is a liar and the whole dyslexic thing could be made up but judging by the stuff he does its obvious he doesn’t understand a lot of whats in print.
