Mossberg Kicks off 2024 with a Fusillade of New Shotgun Models

O.F. Mossberg & Sons makes a full range of firearms from handguns to rimfire and centerfire rifles, but they’re especially well known for their shotguns. You can easily see why with their impressive launch of upgraded and new shotguns for 2024, just ahead of the SHOT Show. The new releases are largely split between US made pump and semi auto optics ready and optics equipped shotguns, and new over and under break action shotguns being imported from Turkey under the Mossberg International brand. They also are releasing a new .400 Legend version of their Patriot bolt action rifle, so it isn’t all shotguns.

Mossberg 500 Turkey Optic-Ready Holosun Combo 410 Bore (50133) –This 410, 3-inch pump action features full Mossy Oak Greenleaf camo coverage and comes with a 20-inch vent rib, AccuChoke-compatible barrel. An extended X-Full choke tube is included. And completing this combo is a Holosun HS407K micro dot sight. MSRP: $84

940 JM Pro Optic Ready 10-Shot Multicam Black (85166) – Setting this 12-gauge, 3-inch competition autoloader apart is its black anodized receiver and complementing Multicam Black camo stock and forend. The 24-inch matte blue, vent rib barrel equipped with a HIVIZ TriComp front fiber optic sight with interchangeable LitePipes. A set of Briley extended choke tubes (Improved Cylinder, Cylinder, and Modified), engraved with constriction, is included. The extended magazine tube increases capacity to 9+1 rounds and the black synthetic stock and forend feature Mossberg’s aggressive signature texturing. Mossberg International Silver Reserve Waterfowl O/U 12 Gauge 3.5-Inch (75485) – This traditional break action features a weather-resistant Cerakote-finished receiver and barrels in Patriot Brown paired with the camouflaged-covered synthetic stock and forend in Mossy Oak Vintage Shadow Grass. The stock features a 14-inch length-of-pull. The 28-inch vent rib barrels are topped with a front fiber optic sight and come with a Field Set of chokes (Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full chokes included). Completing this field-ready O/U is the Mossberg logo laser-engraved on the receiver and tang-mounted safety and barrel selector. MSRP: $956

940 Snow Goose Optic Ready -13 Shot (85167) and 5-Shot (85168) – Two optic-ready versions of this 12-gauge, 3-inch fowling shotgun are available with 28-inch barrel length, and an extended magazine tube on 13-shot version for areas where capacity is not restricted. The vent-rib barrel is topped with a HIVIZ CompSight front fiber optic sight and comes equipped with an extended X-Factor Modified and flush Full and Improved Cylinder choke tubes are included.
