Ipso facto, even if he were a CCW holder, his failure to carry the permit obviated that defense.

Most LEOs are trained to spot signs of concealed carry. Let’s just say, for shits and giggles, that self-immolating Leftist idiot approached armed federal LEOs, carrying concealed, ‘protesting’ (interference with an LEO enforcement action is not a legal protest, just FYI). Now, IF your assertion that the agent disarmed him, and then shot him with his own gun, is true, then I would agree it was a “bad shoot”. Ain’t seen the evidence, yet. However, I will say that anyone stupid enough to go pick a fight with LEOs in the process of an enforcement operation, while armed, is probably a good example of improving the gene pool.
