I have both. There’s a night-and-day difference between the two. The 2.0 (haven’t tried the carry comp version) is one of the best new guns to come out in the last couple of years. Very easy to carry in a pocket. I go with the 10-rounder in the gun plus the 12-rounder in a pocket. 23 rounds of good .380 self defense ammo is muy bueno.

Pocket pistols are not pleasant to shoot during a range session. I have the original Bodyguard. It pushes into your hand on a narrow point. It’s not punishing, just not pleasant. The 2.0 allows the recoil to be spread over a larger area. It will be up to users to decide. Is the larger framer with more challenger to conceal worth the improved ergonomics?

A friend has one on order at our LGS. We are both eager to try it.

In reply to Pablo. I believe this is the even more powerful .380 SW More numbers than the 9mm, so it must be more powerful.

Thank goodness S&W put ports on that to tame the massive recoil of the 9x19mm cartridge.
